Please join us on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 10 am for the next talk in the International Dementia Conference Series, hosted by the McGill Centre for Studies in Aging.
The first lecture will be from our Keynote Speaker, Prof. Khalid Iqbal, who was someone involved with some of the very first experiments ever published about Tau.
This lecture series will cover the historical aspect of tau and the foundational experiments of its discovery, its physiological function, the dynamic characteristics it acquires during disease progression, and how it is currently being studied in patients using state of the art Positron Emission Tomography and emerging fluid biomarkers.
Can Tau be the holy grail of AD diagnostic?
A million-dollar question that we will explore throughout this new series.
