Employees of the DRC are eligible for the Government and Public Employees Retirement Plan or RREGOP.

Statutory Holidays

13 statutory holidays per year for full time employees (part-time and casual employees receive a supplement equivalent to 5.70% of gross salary paid on each pay).

Vacation

Full time employees: minimum of 20 days of paid vacation per year (after 1 year of continuous service); part-time employees receive 8% in lieu of vacation time.

Group benefits

All employees working more than 21 hours per week are eligible for comprehensive group insurance coverage through Medavie Blue Cross*.

Group insurance benefits include access to dental, medical, prescription, eye care, travel insurance, massage therapy, physiotherapy, psychotherapist services, telehealth, employee assistance program (EAP) among others.

*employees become eligible for the plan after 3 months of continuous service
