Rémi Quirion Excellence Award

In addition to being a world- renowned researcher in the field of neuroscience and mental health and to presently hold the position of Quebec’s Chief Scientist, Dr. Quirion was the Scientific Director of the Douglas Research Centre from 1996 to 2011. As such, he has highly contributed to model the research centre as we know it. In particular, he has always been a strong promoter of the essential contribution of students to the research centre. With this in mind, this new excellence award aims to recognize the outstanding research contribution of Master students of the Douglas Research Centre. This award is presented by the Douglas Research Centre and the Douglas Foundation, thanks to the generosity of alumni and collaborators.
