Post-Doctoral Fellow Full-Time Position
Dr Iyer's lab is looking for a postdoctoral fellow who would like to gain expertise in and significantly contribute to a program of research focused on youth mental health and early intervention for psychosis.
Working closely with the program leader (Srividya Iyer) and program experts (young adults with lived experience, families/carers, service providers, Canadian and international researchers, policy-/decision-makers, etc.), the Post-Doctoral Fellow will actively contribute to conceptualization, implementation, analysis, dissemination and other knowledge translation activities. With mentoring from the program leader, the Post-Doctoral Fellow will have the opportunity to demonstrate significant leadership and initiative, contribute to scientific publications and conference presentations, and develop a solid foundation for a future career as a researcher/clinician-scientist.
Along with the program leader and with support from other research staff (e.g., research assistant), the Post-Doctoral Fellow will also have the opportunity to support key activities essential to planning, managing, and executing this Foundational Program. Examples of activities include but are not limited to ethics applications, stakeholder relations, developing research protocols, training and supervision, data collection and management, preparing reports for diverse audiences such as CIHR, participating sites, etc., and supporting partnering community sites in developing research capacity and executing research activities.
