Events and community

McGill library events calendar – provides the schedule of webinars and workshops organized by McGill library, many focused on open science and research data management.
Open research calendar – collects into one database open research events worldwide.
UNESCO’s Open Science webpage – lists events and recent publications by UNESCO.
Initiative “Accès aux données”, from the Table Nationale des Directeurs de la Recherche – organizes events and a community of practice around access to data in healthcare and social services, focusing on the Quebec landscape.
Center for Scientific Collaboration and Community Engagement (CSCCE) – organizes events and a community of practice, with insightful discussions about open science through the Open Research Special Interest Group.
International Neuroinformatics Coordination Facility (INCF) working groups – organizes collaborative, short-term projects to develop, refine, and/or implement community standards, many related to open science and research data management.
Open Science Office Hours (OSOH), supported by TOSI and The Neuro – hosts webinars and office hours on different open science practices.

General training on open scholarship

Open Science 101 – 5-module curriculum designed by the NASA TOPS initiative, to equip researchers, students and citizen scientists with the knowledge and skills to navigate the principles and practices of open science.
Open Science MOOC – extensive open science course (some modules currently under development) and a slack community.
Open Life Science – mentoring and training program for open science ambassadors.
INCF Training Space – online hub for neuroscience educational materials, many related to open science and research data management.
A Guide to Supporting Early Career Researchers in Open Science – recorded event by the Open Science Framework (OSF)
