VIVA/TREMPLIN program coordination
Summary of position

The TREMPLIN and VIVA programs are a Douglas Research Centre initiative. Both platforms focus on the transfer and mobilization of research knowledge to peers and the general public alike. Knowledge mobilization is a key competency of scientific knowledge, and thus a means of influencing political decisions, health or scientific programs and practices.
The workshops are open to Douglas Research Centre students, giving them the tools, they need to design, develop and implement knowledge transfer and mobilization projects.
We are looking for a part-time coordinator to manage the platforms.
Description of tasks
The successful candidate will assist with various aspects of these knowledge transfer and student development programs, including:
- Platform agenda management
- Organization and planning of training events
- Preparation and distribution of promotional material
- Implementation of data collection tools for participants and the student population
- Management of social networks
Required qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree or equivalent
- Bilingual (French-English)
Required skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of various digital tools such as the Office suite and online forms (e.g. Google, Office)
- Effective communication skills
Location of work
- Hybrid work.
- When in person, at the Frank B. Common Pavilion, Douglas Mental Health University Institute
Work schedule
Part-time position (on time sheets). 4 to 5 hours per week.
Salary
