Research Coordinator (CRISP)

Summary of position

Dr Martin Lepage, part of the CRISP group at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute is seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill a Research Coordinator position. The chosen candidate will actively contribute to ongoing research studies in the areas of behavioral and intervention studies for people with severe mental illness (e.g. planning study, participant recruitment, data collection, data management, and quality control).

Description of tasks

  • Planning study – coordinate all steps from start to finish
  • Conduct interviews in French and English
  • Ensure good collaboration with project’s stakeholders
  • Recruitment of participants for ongoing studies
  • Perform/supervise data collection
  • Ensure quality control of data
  • Coordinate with research assistant to ensure project completion
  • Work on grant submission: Fill out forms-submit to bidding organizations

Required qualifications

  • Master’s degree in psychology or relevant diploma
  • 1 to 3 years of experience of Clinical research
  • Experience with magnetic resonance imaging an asset

Required skills

  • Fluency in English and French
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
  • Ability to compose and develop documentation

Douglas Mental Health University Institute -Frank B. Common

Work schedule

1 full-time position (35 hours/week). Candidate must be available for a minimum of one year full-time. Another full-time position is also available with Dre Geneviève Sauvé (position through UQAM but similar benefits and conditions).
