Research Assistant (CRISP)
Summary of position
The CRISP Team (Dr Lepage) at the Douglas Institute is seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill a Research Assistant position. The chosen candidate will actively contribute to ongoing research studies (e.g. participant recruitment, data collection, and data management) in the areas of neurocognition, behavioural intervention, and neuroimaging of people with severe mental illness.
Description of tasks
- Contribute to participant recruitment for ongoing research studies
- Perform data collection for ongoing behavioural and neuroimaging studies
- Data entry and quality checking
- Depending on the strengths of the candidate, may provide expertise/support for other activities including grant writing, proofreading of manuscripts, analysis, programming, etc.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field
Required skills
- Clinical research experience (required)
- Fluency in English and French (essential to conduct interviews in both languages)
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
- Good writing skills
Location of work
Douglas Mental Health University Institute – Frank B. Common
Work schedule
1 full-time position (35 hours/week). Candidates must be available for a minimum of one year full-time
