On August 25, 2022, FRQS announced its Relève étoile prizes. Vincent Paquin, a Master’s student in Mental Health and resident in Psychiatry, McGill University, who works at the Douglas with Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy, was named as the recipient of the Relève étoile Jacques-Genest.
The Relève étoile competition promotes careers in research and aims to recognize the excellence of the research conducted by university students, postdoctoral fellows and members of professional bodies who are carrying out advanced research training in the areas covered by the three Fonds de recherche du Québec. Vincent Paquin won thanks to his recent article , "Longitudinal Trajectories of Food Insecurity in Childhood and their Associations with Mental Health and Functioning in Adolescence," which appeared in JAMA Network Open in December 2021.
