The Douglas Open Science Program has been active at the Douglas since 2019, when initial funding was secured from the Tanenbaum Open Science Initiative to enable the leadership at the Douglas to launch its own initiatives in developing Open Science.
Since then, we have created a dedicated team to support the development Open Science at our institution (2021), declared the Douglas as an Open Science Institute with five guiding principles(2022), and published a position paper documenting the challenges and successes of adopting Open Science at an institutional level (2023).
Today, we are pleased to share with you the 2024-2029 Douglas Open Science Strategic Plan, which outlines the objectives and actions that will shape an Open future at the Douglas over the next five years.
