On Monday, June 20, the Douglas Research Centre and McGill Department of Psychiatry held their first in-person Research Day since 2019. This hybrid event was held in the Douglas Hall, for the plenary sessions, and in the Frank B. Common 2nd floor halls for the poster session. In addition, plenary sessions were broadcast live via Zoom to enable participation of additional members. For more information about the event.
An enthusiastic return to an in-person event
This event was a great success, thanks to the participation and contribution of many students and researchers, and volunteers. Thanks to all who joined in person and via Zoom.
Throughout the day, there were a number of excellent long and short oral presentations as well as a poster session, held in a modified format due to COVID-19 restrictions, during which our students were able to share their exciting work.
Prizes and awards
The Research Day is also an opportunity to celebrate students who have been recently awarded prizes through the Douglas, as well as to recognize the best presentations at the Research Day.
