The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) has announced the results for the year 2026.
Drs Mark Brandon, Mallar Chakravarty, Bruno Giros, Majid Mohajerani, Patricia Silveira, Nicolas Tritsch, Sylvain Williams and Tak Pan Wong are among the winners of the Discovery-Oriented Research Programme competition.
The Discovery Grants Program supports long-term research programmes. It aims to foster creativity and innovation by providing multi-year operating funding, which may also facilitate access to other sources of funding, without covering the full costs of the programme.
These grants will enable researchers to continue their research and develop new collaborations.
