On October 13, during the Quebec Heart Cocktail, Dr. Norbert Schmitz from McGill University in Montreal received a Research Achievement Award, which is annually given by the Heart and Stroke Foundation to highlight the exceptional work of distinguished researchers in heart and stroke health.
Dr. Norbert Schmitz from the Douglas Mental Health University Institute received the first $10,000 Henry and Berenice Kaufman Foundation Award of Excellence. This Research Achievement Award is given to project on cardiovascular risk factors.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation’s annual Quebec Heart Cocktail highlights the contribution of exceptional researchers. Thanks to them, the Foundation can help create more survivors.
