Naguib Mechawar receives a research grant from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

Congratulations to Naguib Mechawar, who received a $100,000 research grant from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.  This research grant aims to determine if early life adversity affects white matter development in the brain in a way that increases suicide risk.  This research could lead to the identification of potential brain targets for suicide prevention.
