The University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine has selected Dr. Michael Meaney to receive the Margolese prize for his work exploring how epigenetic changes affect neurodevelopment, and for his potential to make further contributions brain research. The prize includes a $50,000 award, among the most lucrative honour given by a Canadian university. The recipient was chosen by an international panel of experts and a UBC committee chaired by Robert McMaster, Executive Associate Dean, Research and Deborah Money, Executive Vice Dean.
