Geneviève Sauvé obtains funding for her project, Cerveau@Travail from the Ministère de l’économie et de l’innovation

On May 10, 2022, Mr. Pierre Fitzgibbons, on behalf of the Ministère de l'économie et de l'innovation (MEI), announced the 51 projects that are being funded through their special call for technological and social innovative projects. In total, the MEI is investing $17M to support the development of exciting projects in a variety of areas, including aging, working and living together, and using artificial intelligence to advance social innovation. The goal is for these projects to ultimately lead to more inclusiveness, greater labor availability, reduced care costs and responsible territorial socioeconomic development consistent with concerns about socioecological transition.

We are proud to announce that Dr. Geneviève Sauvé is the lead PI on one of the funded projects, entitled Brains@Work: an intervention to improve professional inclusion of people living with ADHD [Cerveaux @ Travail : une intervention pour améliorer l'inclusion professionnelle des personnes vivant avec le TDAH]. Her work seeks to support young adults who are living with ADHD to thrive in the workplace.

The announcement of this funding was made during the 89th Annual Acfas Conference, which is being held at Université Laval this year.

“With the calls for Axelys and social innovation projects, we promote all forms of innovation to bring our ideas to market. The commercialization of these innovations is at the heart of Quebec's economic development of tomorrow and will allow us to propose solutions to important societal issues. » Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy and Innovation and Minister responsible for Regional Economic Development

Congratulations to Dr. Sauvé!
