We are proud to announce that earlier this year, Dr. Rob Whitley was awarded the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal, a national honour recognizing exceptional service and achievement.
This medal is conferred upon individuals who have made significant contributions to Canada—whether through impactful work at the national, provincial, territorial, or community level—or who have attained remarkable accomplishments abroad that reflect positively on the country.
Dr. Whitley joins a select group of honourees recognized for their dedication and excellence. In total, 30,000 medals are being distributed across Canada, with nominations submitted by government officials and organizations from coast to coast.
This recognition underscores Dr. Whitley’s enduring commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering positive change, both within Canada and internationally.
