Dr. Michel Perreault was recognized for his work in the field of addiction by the RISQ (groupe de Recherche et d’intervention sur les substances psychoactives – Québec) and the journal Drogues, Santé et Société during the 2e Sommet sur les dépendances that took place on October 26, 2022. This prize was awarded in recognition of his "exceptional career".
The Sommet sur les dépendances brings together many actors in the field of addictions and encourages exchange of diverse perspectives, engagement of diverse stakeholders, collaboration, co-construction, and networking. It is the second such event, which will be held every 4 years.
