This year, SSHRC awarded Insight Grants and Insight Development Grants to numerous researchers, representing a wide range of research disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. Among them, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Maxime Montembeault‘s project has been awarded funding through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council’s (SSHRC) Insight Development Grant program.
The results were announced on September 13 by the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of National Revenue, on behalf of the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry. $123.1 million in federal research funding was awarded in the form of 503 Insight Grants and 590 Insight Development Grants to researchers working in social sciences and humanities disciplines at institutions across Canada.
Winners were chosen for the quality of their research projects and their ability to generate major advances in their respective fields.
