Dr. Mallar Chakravarty receives a large donation from the TD Ready Commitment in support of Digital Mental Health research

The Douglas Foundation has announced that TD is donating $150,000 in support of Digital Mental Health research at the Douglas. The project, led by Dr. Mallar Chakravarty, aims to leverage the capacity of Artificial Intelligence for early detection of mental illnesses.

The major aims of the project are to support early interventions for people who are at risk of mental illness, use artificial intelligence to interrogate complex datasets, including clinical, imaging, and anatomical data, and to build algorithms to better assess the risk of developing serious mental illness.

Congratulations to Dr. Chakravarty, and a warm thank you to the Douglas Foundation and to TD Canada Trust!
