Dr. Lena Palaniyappan recently published a commentary in Schizophrenia Bulletin, entitled, “Is collaborative open science possible with speech data in psychiatric disorders?”
In this commentary, Dr. Palaniyappan describes some of the challenges faced in building an open resource like a speech data bank in the context of psychiatry – but also shares his enthusiasm for the project, and optimism for what it might yield.
