Douglas EDI Committee Seeks Trainee Volunteer Members

In January 2020, the Douglas Research Centre established a Standing Committee for Equity Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI). Over the past year faculty interested in this initiative have had 3 meetings to finalize the Mandate, Terms of Reference and discuss committee composition.

It was unanimously agreed that it would be important to have 2 trainee representatives as members of the EDI Committee. The trainees will work with other members of the EDI Committee to help achieve the Committees Mandate, which can be read here: https://douglas.research.mcgill.ca/equity-diversity-and-inclusion-committee .

The term for this position is 2 years. As a member of the EDI Committee you will be expected to attend meetings (approximating 4 per year) and contribute to developing and implementing EDI best practices at the Douglas Research Centre. If you are a Douglas trainee, we hope you will consider applying to this position by sending a 1 pg (maximum) Statement of Interest, and CV to Dr. Natasha Rajah (Chair, EDI Committee): maria.rajah@mcgill.ca
