CIUSSS policies regarding access to the Douglas
Public entrance to the Douglas is only authorized at 3 points, where attendants are available to provide masks and disinfectant: FBC, Perry, and Reed.
Entry through other doors is possible, using an employee access card.

Required PPE
- Procedure masks are mandatory inside all buildings at the Douglas Institute
- Mask must be worn in shared spaces and in offices if occupants are separated by less than 2 meters
- Eye protection (face shields or safety glasses) are only required in specific situations, where direct contact with bodily fluids is anticipated or when treating a person who is or is suspected to be COVID-19+
Please note that used masks must be placed in garbages and not left on the Douglas grounds, in the tunnels, stairwells, etc.

Voluntary (PCR) testing services available to employees on the Douglas grounds
A voluntary testing service available for employees on-site at the Douglas (follow bright yellow signs on the east side of the Douglas Hall building). Tests can be obtained for free, without a referral, on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will have to show your employee card to the security agent.
