In conversation with Srividya Iyer

Professor Srividya Iyer, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University and clinician and researcher at the Douglas Research Centre, recently took time to answer a few questions about the youth mental health project ACCESS Open Minds. This ground-breaking, five-year national research project, of which Professor Iyer is Scientific-Clinical Director, aims to give young Canadians aged 11 to 25 years faster access to higher quality mental health services designed with their distinct needs in mind. She also shared her thoughts on encouraging more women to pursue careers in mental health research.
