On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, the Douglas held its annual Undergraduate Expo, organized by the Douglas Student Committee for Academic Life. This event was a great success, with a record of 22 presentations and 70 participants. As always, it is encouraging to see young scientists discovering exciting projects in neuroscience and mental health.
The winners for the 2022 Douglas Undergraduate Expo are:

- Second Place
- Dominique Lumley (Serge Beaulieu Lab) – Correlates of Sleeping Patterns in Bipolar Disorder
- Third Place (tie)
- Margaret Sayeh (Nicolas Cermakian Lab) – The interaction of prenatal infection and circadian disruption on fat distribution
- Annabel Zhu (Cecilia Flores Lab) – The role of Netrin-1 in the remodelling of dendritic spines in the developing striatum following amphetamine exposure in adolescence
- People's Choice Award
- Margaret Sayeh (Nicolas Cermakian Lab) – The interaction of prenatal infection and circadian disruption on fat distribution
As highlighted at the event, the jury had a hard time selecting the winners among 22 excellent talks.
