We are pleased to announce the winners of the Carsley and Quirion Awards!
Dr. Holly Carsley Memorial Award
The Dr. Holly Carsley Honorary Award recognizes the outstanding work of a Douglas resident, postdoctoral fellow or doctoral student conducting research in the field of depression and suicide. The purpose of the award is to encourage young investigators to conduct high-quality research with the potential to prevent depression and suicide, and to improve the diagnosis and treatment of depression.
Two prizes were awarded, worth $1,000 each:

Dr. Naguib Mechawar team
Dr Rémi Quirion Award of Excellence
This award of excellence recognizes the outstanding research contributions of Douglas Research Centre Master’s students.
A prize of $500 was awarded to Sebastián Boy Waxman, Dr. Nicolas Cermakian team.
