Do you want to learn more about how to communicate your science to broad audiences?
Then our third workshop session: ”Bringing the Lab to Life with Science Communication” is for you!
In this workshop, Kayleigh Casmey (PhD student, McGill University), and Jana Totzek (PhD student, McGill University) will introduce you to different science communication principles and creative approaches.
The workshop also includes a hands-on segment, where you get to apply the principles of science communication to your own research, create a creative communication piece, and pitch it to the person next to you. So bring a part of your research that you would like to communicate (i.e., a scientific concept, your project, a novel idea) and learn how to bring the lab to life through science communication!
The event will take place in person on Thursday, March 19, 2026, @1-3pm in the Perry Pavilion of the Douglas Research Centre, Room E-3517 (next to the cafeteria).
Spots are limited: first-come, first-served!
We look forward to seeing you there!
