2024 Leo and Rachel Hendlisz Award competition: Awardees

The Leo and Rachel Hendlisz Awards are given to the best research articles of the year published by students and postdoctoral fellows of the Douglas Research Centre. The 2024 awardees were announced at a special scientific event held on December 18, 2024.

1st place: Gabriel Desrosiers-Gregoire (team Mallar Chakravarty)

for his article “A standardized image processing and data quality platform for rodent fMRI.” Nature Communications, 2024

 

2nd place: Sophie Simard (équipe Naguib Mechawar)

hor her article “Spatial transcriptomic analysis of adult hippocampal neurogenesis in the human brain.” Journal of Psychiatry & Neuroscience, 2024

 

3rd place: Jude Balit (équipe Massimiliano Orri)

for her article “Association of chronic pain with suicide attempt and death by suicide: a two-sample Mendelian randomization.” Molecular Psychiatry, 2024
