“Literally, lecanemab melts amyloid plaques, and within a few months, brains that were full of amyloid are suddenly almost completely emptied of this protein. The effect is spectacular,” describes Dr. Judes Poirier, Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University and Director of the Molecular Neurobiology Unit at the Douglas Research Centre.
