The Leo and Rachel Hendlisz Award is given to the best research articles of the year published by students and postdoctoral fellows of the Douglas Research Centre. Once again this year the trainees submitting the highest ranked submissions will be invited to present a short talk in a scientific event to take place in December. The awardees will be announced during this event.

The 2018 Hendlisz Prizes were awarded to: Laura Kervezee (Diane Boivin teams, Nicolas Cermakian), Joseph Therriault (Pedro Rosa-Neto team) and Nikhil Bhagwat (Mallar Chakravarty team)
For the first time in 2018, three students subsequently produced short videos (in the form of a video abstract) with the knowledge transfer unit of the Montreal West Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre, to highlight their work.
