Resistance and resilience to Alzheimer’s disease
Résumé
Modifiable risk factors could help to halt the development of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) AD pathology (resistance) and could also mitigate the symptomatic expression of AD pathology on cognition (resilience). Improved understanding of how specific modifiable risk factors work through patho-physiological mechanisms should be instrumental to the design of novel therapeutic interventions.
