Please join us for a special seminar on Patient Oriented Research in Youth Mental Health, given by Dr. Tanya Halsall.
The talk is entitled, “Integrating lived experience to support equitable youth mental health promotion.”
Tanya Halsall is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Ottawa Institute of Mental Health Research at The Royal and an adjunct research professor in the Department of Neuroscience at Carleton University. With a focus on young people, her areas of interest are mental health promotion, community-based program evaluation and behaviour change to support system transformation. The principles of equity, diversity and inclusion are integral to her research program as she applies participatory strategies to partner with young people from minority groups to co-design research and community-based initiatives.
