Dr. Katie Lavigne
Biography
Dr. Katie Lavigne is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University and a Researcher at the Douglas Research Centre. She received a PhD in Neuroscience in 2018 from the University of British Columbia for her research on functional brain networks underlying cognitive biases and delusions in schizophrenia. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Neuro and Douglas Research Centre between 2018 and 2023, where she studied multimodal brain-cognition associations in psychosis and digital cognitive health. Her group develops open-source digital tools to improve cognitive assessment and promote cognitive health in transdiagnostic psychiatry. Ultimately, her research is concerned with understanding the cognitive underpinnings of multiscale neuropsychosocial markers in psychiatric disorders.
