You’d like to learn more about how animals contribute to biomedical and psychiatry research? You are not sure how animals are being treated, and you would like to know more? You are curious of what advances in mental health research were made possible by animal research at the Douglas? Look no further!
The DAL committee is organizing an event to answer those very questions.
Join us on May 1st, at 13:30, in the basement of the Douglas Hall to learn more about the role of animal models in mental health research. The event will include a dynamic panel composed of researchers Salah El Mestikawy and Claire-Dominique Walker, and the animal facility supervisor at the Douglas Research Centre, Guylaine Gadoury, a space to ask your questions, and interactive games!
