Antoine Besnard, PhD

Please join us for a seminar from Antoine Besnard, PhD, Instructor at Harvard Medical School – Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Besnard will be presenting a seminar entitled “Coding of Threat Uncertaintly in the Lateral Septum” on Monday, October 7, 11:00 a.m. (Bowerman Room, Dobell, B-1127).

Dr. Besnard completed his graduate training (2008-2011) with Dr. Jocelyne Caboche, gaining extensive research experience in behavioral pharmacology to investigate the molecular mechanisms of cocaine-induced adaptations and contextual fear memory processing. In 2012, he started his post-doctoral training (2012-present) in Dr. Amar Sahay’s lab to investigate the mechanisms underlying the generation of defensive responses as well as stress-induced adaptations.
