Validation of cognitive tests in the French-speaking Quebec population

Description of study

This study aims to develop and validate neuropsychological tests used to assess various cognitive functions (memory, language, executive functions, social cognition). These tools are used clinically to help diagnose conditions related to aging, such as neurodegenerative disorders. Participants contribute to establishing a reference sample, which will serve as a basis for comparison to detect potential cognitive impairments in patients.

Participate in two sessions of approximately 2 hours each at the Douglas Research Centre (in Verdun), and complete online questionnaires at home (approximately 1 hour).

Eligibility criteria

Be between 18 and 90 years old
Have French as a first language
Have lived in Quebec for approximately 75% of your life
Have a close contact available to complete questionnaires
