Nicotine/Tobacco and Brain Imaging Study
We are seeking participants for a study investigating the relationship between nicotine use/tobacco use and the brain. We are looking for participants who currently use nicotine (vape) or tobacco (cigarettes) daily.

Participants will come to the Douglas Research Centre for visits where they will fill out questionnaires, perform cognitive tasks and provide urine samples. There will also be 2 imaging scans.

You will significantly contribute to the advancement of research in mental health and substance use. Specifically, you will help us understand the relationship between tobacco and/or nicotine use and the brain.
Eligibility criteria
- 18-55 years old
- Currently use nicotine (vape) or tobacco (cigarettes) daily.
- Do not use drugs (e.g., cannabis, cocaine)
- Have no severe medical conditions
- Have no metal implants and are not claustrophobic
