Description of study

Participants will come to the Douglas Research Centre for visits where they will fill out questionnaires, perform cognitive tasks and provide urine samples. There will also be 2 imaging scans.

You will significantly contribute to the advancement of research in mental health and substance use. Specifically, you will help us understand the relationship between tobacco and/or nicotine use and the brain.

Eligibility criteria

• 18-55 years old
• Currently use nicotine (vape) or tobacco (cigarettes) daily.
• Do not use drugs (e.g., cannabis, cocaine)
• Have no severe medical conditions
• Have no metal implants and are not claustrophobic
