Cannabis, Memory, and the Brain

We are seeking participants for a study investigating the relationship between cannabis use, memory, and the brain. We are looking for both cannabis users and non-cannabis users. The study will take place over the course of 4 weeks, twice weekly.

Principal Investigator(s):

Dr. Rachel Rabin

Description of the study:

Participants will come to the Douglas Research Centre for weekly study visits where they will fill out questionnaires. There will also be 2 MRI scans (one at the beginning of the month and one at the end of the month). At these visits, cognition (including memory) will also be tested. Participants will provide 2 urine samples per week. One will be collected at the time of the study visit and one will be collected on a separate day 2-3 days later.

Financial compensation:

To determine study eligibility, you will complete a short phone screen followed by an in-person screen. Once eligibility is established, you will be invited to our lab to complete questionnaires, cognitive tasks, MRIs, and to provide urine samples on two separate days each week over the course of 4 weeks.
