Predictive factors of outcome following a Major Depressive Episode in adolescents: a prospective clinical, neurocognitive and neuroimaging study

Description of the study: 

We are currently conducting a research project on the evolution of depressive symptoms in order to study factors associated with depression.

The goal of the project is to compare depressed adolescents with non-depressed adolescents from the community.

You will receive a financial compensation for your time and travel, and a picture of your brain.

Eligibility criteria: 

• Be between 12 and 17 years of age
• Obtain the written consent of your parents
• Have had NO depressive symptoms, suicidal ideation or suicide attempt
• Be available for a blood test, an interview, and magnetic resonance image of your brain
